With my continued experimentation of the materiality of paint, I have discovered a newfound relationship with the drip. The paintings are mainly inspired by whimsical abstract landscapes created by pouring with vivid colors. The subject of the paintings reflect nature-based illusionistic structures and the process of pouring paint. Laying foundations of colors create variations in background depth. Through the use of pouring and dripping I develop abstract landscapes using paint.
