Consider, what does that moment of decision-making and deep self-contemplation look like?  These images are meant to provoke the viewer to consider how self-thought and deep concentration appear. This is achieved through letting one’s self be seen in these private moments. This study of self brings about the ideas of self-awareness and vulnerability by exposing the human condition. Through intimate cropping, the viewer has a close look at this state of contemplation. The subtle background and vibrant figures draw the eye to focus on the subjects. The awkwardness of the cropping also creates a more powerful image.
